Hi, I'm Katie — a speech-language pathologist who believes therapy should feel like play, progress should be celebrated loudly, and every family deserves a therapist who truly knows your child.

Katie is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with five years of experience doing what she loves most: playing with kids and supporting developing skills!
Originally from Virginia, she earned her bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the University of Mary Washington and her master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Old Dominion University.
Katie has been trained in natural language acquisition framework to support gestalt language processors and is interested in the role of executive function in language development. After graduating, she moved to the Lowcountry, working three years in private practice and two years in the public schools.
When not working, Katie can be found at the beach or riding horses. 🌿
Choosing a self-pay practice isn't just about skipping the insurance headaches — it's about choosing a completely different kind of care. Here's why families across the country are making the switch.
No insurance company decides how many sessions your child gets or which goals are "approved." Frequency, duration, and focus are driven entirely by your child's needs — not a billing code.
Insurance-based clinics often have months-long waitlists. Private pay practices can get your child started quickly — which matters when communication development is time-sensitive.
Know exactly what you're paying — no surprise bills, denials, or EOBs arriving months later. Superbills are available so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement on your own terms.
* Superbills are available upon request — many families with PPO or out-of-network benefits receive partial reimbursement directly from their insurance provider.
Please reach out to discuss evaluation and therapy services. Superbills are available for all sessions.
Not sure if speech therapy is right for your child? Let's chat! A brief call to talk through your concerns, answer questions, and see if we're a good fit.
One-on-one therapy tailored entirely to your child's goals. In-person in Bluffton/Hilton Head or via teletherapy. Frequency recommended based on your child's needs.
A thorough assessment using standardized testing, language sample analysis, and dynamic assessment. Includes a written report and personalized next-step recommendations.
